Why Recycle?
The importance of recycling : Reducing, reusing and recycling save resources and energy. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials. Making products from raw materials costs much more than if they were made from recycled products. Recycling also uses less energy therefore preserving natural resources for the future. Recycling reduces pollution as well. As the need for raw materials is reduced, rain forests can be better preserved. Recycling old bottles, instead of making them from scratch, can cut pollution by up to 20% and reduce the demand for water by half.
